New update fix for YGOC DB

We released a new update for YGOC DB.full version. This update will fix the startup error and will make the offline mode to work like it worked at the first time!

Also we improved the dice results and the card drawing in personal deck.

We added the much requested feature to download all the cards images! Remember that all the images have almost 900 Mb and the process takes times, so will be best to do the bulk download when you are connected with a Wi-Fi network!

YGOC DB Lite will have in-app purchase

The new update for the lite version brings two options for purchase: the calculator and the packs with forbbiden cards listing.

Hope to bring more purchase items in the future and with a trial option before purchase!

Keep current version of the application

To get the instructions for how to get the new application, please keep the current application installed on your iPhones/iPods. Also if you have the demo version please remove it and start for at least one more time the full version.

In this way we will know that you have the full version and you will receive a message from us with instructions.

At this moment we do not know were that message will be delivered because we do not know when Apple will review and accept the new application.

Tuesday 4 August 2009, Apple decided to remove from sale our application. The reason was the unresolved dispute between us and Konami. How can you say that a dispute is unresolved if one of the party doesn’t respond to your emails? This is very not professional for Konami and Apple too. We will try to see what we can do with this situation because we have a lot of updates to provide to current customers.

Below is the message from Apple:

We regret that the dispute regarding your “YuGiOh Cards” application could not be resolved amicably between the parties. We have removed your application from the App Store.

We submit a new update version for the Apple to review. The new futures that were added can be found here and they put accent on the online community, so if you have no internet connection or no account to set-up then you have no access to this futures.

You can now publish your deck so that others can see it in applications or you can publish your decks, or list of cards directly on internet. You can even send the list on email to a friend from address book.

You can rate decks that are published by others but only in application.

So here it is just the first part of the “on-line”. The next one will come with a more futures but will come in a long time.

Till then we are preparing the application so it can update itself from a server, because we will make the pass to iPhone OS 3.

YuGiOh Cards Lite version it’s out there!

After a long period of time and 2 rejections, the YuGiOh Cards Lite version it’s out there! This version contain only 164 cards and doesn’t have LPC and online account.

YuGiOh Cards LITE version

We submit for review a LITE version of the application so anyone can play with the application before they buy it. The LITE version contain only the latest 4 packs with their cards and it doesn’t contain the LPC and the online account.

Requiring unexpected additional time

It seems that a lot of developers got this message from Apple. On twitter I found a lot of people complaining about this. You can check this link!

We are uploaded for review a demo version of the application witch contain almost all futures, but only the last packs and boosters, this means only 4 packs and 164 cards. This is for those that want to try the application but don’t want to risk to lose $7.

Resubmitting of an update

We resubmit the new update to Apple and hoped they will review it this time. But unfortunately they sent us the same email with the same message …

Your application, YuGiOh Cards , is requiring unexpected additional time for review.

So the only thing to do is to wait for the update to be reviewed. This is very frustrating because a lot of people need this update for their iPhone OS 3.0 version.

Update 1.2.6 in review

We are sorry yo inform you that the Apple will extend the review for the last update for unknown reasons. You can read the message below.

Your application, YuGiOh Cards, is requiring unexpected additional time for review. We apologize for the delay, and will update you with further status as soon as we are able.

For what we found on Google, regarding this message, seems that the review time can take days, weeks even months. We hope it will be approved as soon as possible and we will try to do our best to make that happen quickly.

Till the update will be reviewed the application will not be available in iTunes.
