The new application: YGOC DB

Finally the new application it’s live on iTunes. The new name is YGOC DB and commes in 3 versions: YGOC DB (full), YGOC DB Basic and YGOC DB Lite (free)

Good news, the free version has all the cards! Bad news, we removed the images because of the copyright issues. Also we added new futures to the application and we still are working on some new cool futures.

We are glad to announce that we modified the application to maintain the copyright of the Konami for the YuGiOh cards. We changed the name of the application (after will be approved you will find the new name), we removed all the card and packs images (we know that this is the saddest thing of all) and we have the free version with all the cads in it (yes, you heard right the free version has all the cards).

There will be 3 version of the application:
- full version with all the old and new futures in it (price: 7USD)
- basic version that will not have the LPC and some of the my zone functions (price: 4 USD)
- free version only with the cards and the search, without the rulings (price: free)

Soon we will post more info about the new futures. the application should be approved in a few days.

The version will work only with iPhone OS 3.0!

For all those that bought the application we have a solution to give the new (full version) for free. The only thing that you will lost are the personal list and filters.

We submit a new update version for the Apple to review. The new futures that were added can be found here and they put accent on the online community, so if you have no internet connection or no account to set-up then you have no access to this futures.

You can now publish your deck so that others can see it in applications or you can publish your decks, or list of cards directly on internet. You can even send the list on email to a friend from address book.

You can rate decks that are published by others but only in application.

So here it is just the first part of the “on-line”. The next one will come with a more futures but will come in a long time.

Till then we are preparing the application so it can update itself from a server, because we will make the pass to iPhone OS 3.

YuGiOh Cards Lite version it’s out there!

After a long period of time and 2 rejections, the YuGiOh Cards Lite version it’s out there! This version contain only 164 cards and doesn’t have LPC and online account.

YuGiOh Cards LITE version

We submit for review a LITE version of the application so anyone can play with the application before they buy it. The LITE version contain only the latest 4 packs with their cards and it doesn’t contain the LPC and the online account.

Requiring unexpected additional time

It seems that a lot of developers got this message from Apple. On twitter I found a lot of people complaining about this. You can check this link!

We are uploaded for review a demo version of the application witch contain almost all futures, but only the last packs and boosters, this means only 4 packs and 164 cards. This is for those that want to try the application but don’t want to risk to lose $7.

Resubmitting of an update

We resubmit the new update to Apple and hoped they will review it this time. But unfortunately they sent us the same email with the same message …

Your application, YuGiOh Cards , is requiring unexpected additional time for review.

So the only thing to do is to wait for the update to be reviewed. This is very frustrating because a lot of people need this update for their iPhone OS 3.0 version.

Update 1.2.6 in review

We are sorry yo inform you that the Apple will extend the review for the last update for unknown reasons. You can read the message below.

Your application, YuGiOh Cards, is requiring unexpected additional time for review. We apologize for the delay, and will update you with further status as soon as we are able.

For what we found on Google, regarding this message, seems that the review time can take days, weeks even months. We hope it will be approved as soon as possible and we will try to do our best to make that happen quickly.

Till the update will be reviewed the application will not be available in iTunes.

Our last release (1.2.5) was in review for 9 days.

Took a lot of time for the Apple team to review. For what we know they was a bit busy with the hole 1 Billion apps download!
