Version 1.2.7 approved but app is removed from sale

The review team from Apple is a department that has no connection with the rest of the Apple departments. How can you review and approve an update to an application that it’s removed from sale? And if you approve the update why you don’t let the current customers update their application?

Version 1.2.7 – code name: on-line

We submit a new update version for the Apple to review. The new futures that were added can be found here and they put accent on the online community, so if you have no internet connection or no account to set-up then you have no access to this futures.

You can now publish your deck so that others can see it in applications or you can publish your decks, or list of cards directly on internet. You can even send the list on email to a friend from address book.

You can rate decks that are published by others but only in application.

So here it is just the first part of the “on-line”. The next one will come with a more futures but will come in a long time.

Till then we are preparing the application so it can update itself from a server, because we will make the pass to iPhone OS 3.

YuGiOh Cards LITE version

We submit for review a LITE version of the application so anyone can play with the application before they buy it. The LITE version contain only the latest 4 packs with their cards and it doesn’t contain the LPC and the online account.

Requiring unexpected additional time

It seems that a lot of developers got this message from Apple. On twitter I found a lot of people complaining about this. You can check this link!

We are uploaded for review a demo version of the application witch contain almost all futures, but only the last packs and boosters, this means only 4 packs and 164 cards. This is for those that want to try the application but don’t want to risk to lose $7.

Update 1.2.6 in review

We are sorry yo inform you that the Apple will extend the review for the last update for unknown reasons. You can read the message below.

Your application, YuGiOh Cards, is requiring unexpected additional time for review. We apologize for the delay, and will update you with further status as soon as we are able.

For what we found on Google, regarding this message, seems that the review time can take days, weeks even months. We hope it will be approved as soon as possible and we will try to do our best to make that happen quickly.

Till the update will be reviewed the application will not be available in iTunes.

New search options

Because there was a lot of requests that required to add a search option for type and attribute of a card, we added this in version 1.2.3. We upload the new version again on iTunes. So in 3-4 days should appear on iTunes.

1.2.3 Update – delayed

The update for 1.2.3 will be delayed by 2 days, because of an major bug (application will not start if no internet connection is detected)

A handy future in version 1.2.2

As you can see in the left image, we added two arrows to navigate through the list of cards. It’s like the mail application from the iPhone/iPod.

Personally we think this is a major and a very useful navigation method. Hope you will love this future. We have another two navigation methods to implement, but those will require some time to development.

Give it 4-5 days to be reviewed by the Apple team and to appear in iTunes.
